Anna Blume, directed by Vessela Dantcheva, got three new awards: 1. Jury’s Special Award at the Anim’est 2010- the fifth edition of the international animation film festival in Bucharest. Vessela received the diploma and congratulations from Phil Mulloy, who gave out the jury’s motivation: „Anna Blume is a film with a simple, yet powerful graphic style that takes us towards playfulness and imaginary using the absurdities of language, without minding sense and interpretation”.
Among the other award-winning titles were Bing Bang Big Boom (dir. Blu, Italy, 2010) which received the Grand prize; Eleanor's Secret (dir. Dominique Monféry, France-Italy, 2009) which got the Best Feature Film award and Dust Kid (dir. Yumi JungT, South- Korea), winner of the Best Short Film Award. All three are definitely worth seeing!
