Open Call for the first edition of Black Sea Animation Workshop’24

✨After two successful editions of the "Annecy-Bulgaria Animation Pitching Workshop," we are joining forces with the Georgian Animators Association Saqanima, represented by Mariam Kandelaki, and the Annecy International Animation Festival, expanding the initiative in partnership with five countries: Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.

Each country will announce an open call for projects, from which two proposals will be selected to participate in the Black Sea Animation Pitching Workshop’24.

A total of 10 participants will have the opportunity to develop their ideas during a 5-day masterclass with two French producers, from November 26-30, 2024, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

5 of the best projects will be presented during the market MIFA at Annecy International Animation Festival in June 2025.

Our partners will offer two additional prizes - a one-month NEF residency at the Abbaye Royal de Fontevraud, France for 2025 and a free accreditation to the CEE Animation Forum 2025.
