BALCONADA at the 48th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival

BALCONADA was selected to take part in the 48th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France. Out of a total of 8,900 short films from around the world, 'Balconada' was the only Bulgarian film of just 62 films chosen for the International Competition. Congratulations to the entire team!

Iva Tokmakchieva and Vessela Dantcheva presented 'Balconada' at the festival in person, connecting with the audience and fellow filmmakers.

'Balconada' met its audience through eight screenings in different venues during the festival, which took place from January 30 to February 7, 2026.

The festival is highly accessible to the public and attracts over 170,000 admissions each year, making it the second-largest film festival in France after Cannes.
