BALCONADA with Best Debut Award from Weird Market festival

WFEST (September 30th - October 5th) is a Weird Animation, Video Games and New Media International Market in Valencia, Spain.

For the 17th edition of the festival the jury consisting of - independent filmmaker Bárbara Cerro, producer and pitching consultant Sylvain Grain, filmmaker and cartoonist Vrej Kassournel - has awarded the International Talent Award to the short animated film BALCONADA.

We are very honoured by this recognition, and would like to thank and congratulate the entire BALCONADA team and everyone involved!

The film is produced by Compote Collective with the support of Bulgarian National Film Center and Bulgarian National Fund “Culture” in co-production with Girelle Production with the participation of BIPTV as part of the Objectives and Means Contract of the Centre-Val de Loire Region, coordinated by Ciclic Pictanovo, images in Hauts-de-France with the support of the Hauts-de-France Region with the participation of the CNC with the support of SACEM in association with Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire Region. The film is distributed by Pentacle distribution.
